Sizes on patterns. Body size vs finished garment size. I think this is why ordering from Japanese Lolita companies that are one size or list a range could be confusing. 2 1/2 inches ~ 6.5 cm, so subtract at LEAST 6.5 from a max measurement and likely it will still just barely fit. 8 is better.
